I love Parma. I have been practicing fair bit for these upcoming concerts - Why? Well, I have been asked to perform two different programmes. On the 4th of November we will be performing Brahms' fantastic Cello Sonata No.2. (by the way - it is very difficult to play but gorgeous!), with Pietro Nappi. I am also going to be performing Prokofiev's flute Sonata No.2 with Sandu Nagy.
On the 5th of November I will be conducting the FILARMONICA ARTURO TOSCANINI
and performing Poulenc's Organ Concerto (One of my favourite Organ Concertos). I will also be conducting Duke Ellington's "Nutcracker Suite" - a fun and jazzy piece!
